Equity statement
Every child has a right to read, and literacy is a gateway to opportunity. The impact of systemic racism has left too many children unable to read at an age-appropriate level. We are committed to ensuring that every child in our community, especially those in underserved zip codes and neighborhoods, have access to books and experience the benefits of literacy.
To create positive systemic change, we hold ourselves accountable to integrate and normalize diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our operations. We challenge our own biases and build trusting, authentic relationships that honor the identity and humanity of all.
